At the forefront of medical practices and technology advancements, he has published extensively, is a Visiting Professor of Plastic Surgery to Harvard Medical School and in his early career was under the tutelage of and worked alongside a Nobel Prize nominee.

Mr Banwell has published over 100 papers, manuscripts and books and has been committed to scientific research and evidence-based medicine throughout his career. He has previously run a research unit specialising in scars and wounds & founded and headed an award-winning Melanoma & Skin Cancer Unit. Most recently he has authored a best-selling medical textbook on female cosmetic genital surgery.
